Animation (To this point..)
Here is my animation to this point. I am going to continue working on making the "bending" and "breaking" of the type smoother. I'm also thinking of having some particles break off too when the type "breaks".

yeah, your newer version is much better. keep working on developing a realistic sense of timing, speed, and force. it doesn't have to be "literal time", but feel like literal time. does that make sense? don't be afraid to go bold with these, so you can be appropriately forceful. also make sure you are addressing the craft/pixelization issues we discussed friday.
