Here is the process for the paper prototype. I just tried to work as quick as possible and once I had gotten to a point where I was beginning to slow my pace I would stop, take a few steps back, and take a look at what maybe didn't belong or what I had left out. I also looked for more ways that things overlapped or connected.

I started by doing a mind map on paper first, trying to find things that related to my icons.
